Devcontainer feature that scaffolds AI agent and skill assets (Claude, GitHub Copilot) into a workspace. Each asset is assembled from tool-agnostic content files with per-tool YAML frontmatter injected at runtime.
My name is Fabrizio Cafolla and I'm a DevOps & Platform Engineer. In my work, I mainly focus on designing cloud architectures and automating CI/CD processes, with the goal of making life easier for development teams and improving the reliability of software delivery.
I work primarily with AWS and GCP, managing infrastructure through IaC, mainly using Terraform. The languages I use most are Python and Bash, with some experience in TypeScript and Go. Over the years, I've worked with very different kinds of organizations: small and medium-sized businesses, corporate environments in the banking sector, and startup ecosystems which taught me how important it is to adapt tools and solutions to the context, not the other way around.
I'm deeply connected to the open-source world and to knowledge sharing. From this conviction, European OpenSource was born a spin-off of Italia Open-Source, which I also founded and I serve as Community Manager of Latina in Tech. Outside of work, I travel whenever I get the chance, often as a digital nomad, and I document these experiences on my blog.
Code projects I maintain publicly on GitHub
