Devcontainer feature that scaffolds AI agent and skill assets (Claude, GitHub Copilot) into a workspace. Each asset is assembled from tool-agnostic content files with per-tool YAML frontmatter injected at runtime.
My name is Fabrizio Cafolla and I'm a DevOps & Platform Engineer. I design cloud architectures, automate CI/CD pipelines, and build the infrastructure that lets development teams ship reliably and move faster.
I work primarily with AWS and GCP, managing infrastructure as code through Terraform. My main languages are Python and Bash, with some TypeScript and Go. Over the years I've worked across very different contexts small and medium businesses, corporate banking, startup ecosystems which taught me that tools and processes need to adapt to the people and the context, not the other way around.
I believe open source is the real engine of technological progress, and I try to live that through projects and community work. I founded Italia Open-Source and its European spin-off, European OpenSource: a community-driven platform to map and connect open-source projects, developers, and organizations across Europe. I also serve as Community Manager of Latina in Tech, bringing quality tech events to my city and building connections between developers and companies.
Outside of work, I travel whenever I can often as a digital nomad. Many of these trips turn into guides and stories on my blog, where the technical side meets the personal one.
